We are a group of Long Islanders and friends who share the passion for trails and nature. We hike, bike and kayak the many trails and beautiful nature sights Long Island has to offer. We also travel, camp, backpack and hike to many beautiful places in the mountains of the Northeast and beyond. We link up with other hiking meetup groups and organizations in other states and participate in their events.

Our events are a mix of easy to advance levels which make this group suitable for all ages and fitness levels. If you don't see an event that will fit your level and want to initiate one, we surely would welcome you to organize one for the other members to enjoy. Let's explore Long Island and have plenty of fun and adventure!

EVENT ORGANIZERS WANTED!
We try to set events each weekend, mostly Saturdays and usually on places we know. But we're sure that many would love to hike, bike or kayak during other days and to other places. So, we would like to invite those who have knowledge and experience of any trails in Long Island to share it with the other members and help us lead or organize some of our future meetups.


MAILING LISTS:
Occassionally, we email interested members on specific trail activities or topics. This mailing lists are created so we can direct communications and discussions on those who are interested, thereby reducing the unnecessary emails to the whole group. If you are interested to participate in any of these specific activities and wanted to receive periodic communications, subscribe to any of the mailing lists below.
